I'm a finalist!

Oh, I didn't realize that it has been so long since I've last updated my blog *ashamed*
I can't guarantee it won't happen again, but I'll try to post more often.
I must get over the fact that I do not need to post something meaningful each time, but that it actually is enough that I post my layouts. It is what I want with the blog, to show my creations *smile*

Some good news: I made it to the final in the Grand Prix challenge at Scrapbookexpress *toot*. I'm now one of eight finalists. The last challenge is out, and who would believe that we have to make a mini album of ourselves? Not me, for sure! *faint*

Grand Prix

I don't think I've mentioned it, but I'm currently attending a competition at Scrapbook Express. Can you belive that? Me? A challenge? *haha* I wouldn't miss it for a second!
Anyway.. it's been going on for some weeks now, and I haven't posted any of these layouts yet.
*Yes, I know, I'm really slow.*
But wait no longer, here are my creations so far.

"Streets of Paris" also made it on the famous "Stripa" (Scrapwalk) at Minneriket! *making a happy-dance & a big smile*

The first swim of the year

I think it's really early for a swim this time of year, but my crazy children (the oldest ones), insisted on taking a swim. *faint*.
It was a very short session, but they did get under, and I was sure to capture the event.

scRapp # 4

This is my take on this months scRapp over at Scrappemania. We have been inspired by one of Mari's wonderful layouts.
I've scrapped a layout about my mother and how much she loves the color red. A lot of things in her life are red. She's got a lot of red clothes, red pillows, red sofa, red towels, and she's even got a red table, just to mention some of it.

Easter

It's finally easter, and we are visiting my mother outside Molde. We are having a nice time, and the weather is much better than last year when it was aweful. I haven't done any scrapping since we came, but I'm going on a crop tomorrow. *Yeay*

I've never been to a crop on these parts before, so I'm really looking forward to that. The only one I know who's coming is Salte, and it's always nice to see her again :-)
