Cardmaking *toot-toot*

Started on my vacation on Monday, with the intention that I would sit up late every evening and scrap... that hasn't happend (well, I have been up late), and I must admit I haven't been blogging as much as I hoped, but I have some (good?) excuses;
my mother has been here for two and a half week. She's been so nice helping out with the children, the dishes and the laundry!! I love her for that, since I pretty much hate doing the laundry. Thank you Mum!
My youngest learned to ride the bike (she just turned 5) (oh.. that would be an excuse to blog, not not too *lol*)I've been to Bruce Springsteen concert at Valle Hovin last Tuesday, and it was awesome. That man know how rock!!

Yesterday my oldest turned 11 *hip hurray*
( she often behaves like a thirtheenyearold) ,
and I have given six of my chairs a "make over"! As you can see, it was necessary!!

and after:For those of you who knows me, knows that I'm a lousy card maker. But last week Linda was in Drammen, and she makes lovely cards, so I wanted her to teach me. I brought my sewing machine, and she had the rest. I managed to make three cards, and I think they turned out ok. Don't think I ever reach to Linda's level... but I had fun making them, and who knows, maybe I'll make some more...

Summertime

In the summertime when the weather is high...
Who isn't happy when the weather is nice? And the music in the summer always bring back memories from happy days; thinking of past holidays and summer love *sigh*.

But today it has been raining, and I got time to make a layout for the challenge at ScrappeMania; make a layout where you use the title from the Top20 music play list from VG.
I just had to use Jason Mraz's title, I'm Yours. I LOVE that song!! And it keeps spinning around in my head constantly.
This is how it turned out, size 6x12: AND not only that, but I also made two lettersize LO's at a friends crop the other night. I made them for the summerschool over at Minneriket. They're giving different challenges throughout the summer. The ones I've made is for "Use at least 5 pictures" and "Distressing". Quite simple, but I just had to make something, just to get the scrappin' feeling again... it's been quite some time now. (blaming my full time job...)

The scrapper has landed!

This weekend was awesome..I had such a great time with my friends Ingeborg and Lise!!
And I met Helle and Marianne. Two wonderful girls.(isn't all scrappers nice?? )

We had an early rise at 4.50 friday morning. But from 3pm on friday until 4.30 pm on sunday we where on a roll. One class after another.. Oh, I had such big hope before I left, that I would finish all my projects at the crop. *haha* I won't do that mistake again.

..yes, there where things that went wrong by the organizers, but can you really blame them? I mean; nearly 500 people on the most *shock*, something is bound to go wrong.
But they handled it the best they could. No hard feelings on my behalf.

I must say I'm eager to lay my hands on the projects I've started (most of them anyway), so hopefully I'll have a chance this weekend.

Oh... had to by another pair of crocks.. orange of course. So now I'll soon have a rainbow of crocks *lol*

SAG - here I come!!!

Oh, my I'm soo excited!!! My trip to Netherland and SAG is just hours away. I feel like a little kid all over again! It's like christmas and birthday all at once. Speaking of birthday; my youngest turned 5 on Monday, and she got this cute Dalmatian costume. She loves dogs!

I was at a crop on Friday at Papertrends, and took a class hosted by Xtine/Christine. We got lovely kits, and I had a really good time! I need to thank Christine for all the things I borrowed from her, and Tove. Thanks! They are such sweet girls! I haven't scrapped for ages, except the one 6x12, so I was pleased when I came home with these 5 layouts:

My first thought was to find a book that has more than 8 pages *lol*

I'm not usually mad, really, really mad and angry... but this f* uploading thing is driving me crazy, and is keeping me up late, really late, night after night. I don't have any uploading energy left... But I'm trying one last time.. so therefore I'm still sitting here at half past one in the morning.

But oh, I got this lovely card from Linda. Her creativity is blooming. If you haven't seen her work, you should really head over to her blog. She gets you inspired!

Don't you just really hate that! Trying to upload pictures to one of these on line photo shops, but it takes forever... I've been trying for a couple of days now. Started with all the pictures from our holiday to Mallorca, but of course that didn't work*grr* So now I'm tying with less photos (about 70), and the estimated time said 5min, and that was 40min ago! *faint*
Oh, it makes me so angry. And I know that when it's finished, I still have plenty to upload.
Ok, I could have taken it to a shop, and I did try, but it would take 10days, which I don't have.
I need them before next Friday since I'm going to Scrap-a-Ganza. Jippiyeay!!
Typically me to wait until last minute.
